This article will show you how to setup Microsoft Authenticator so that this can be used as an Identity Verification method for User Identity Verification checks.
Setting up Microsoft Authenticator
Already have MS Authenticator?
If you’ve already setup Microsoft Authenticator for use with your work account, you can skip to the next section of this article.

Click on this link (https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info) to go directly to your Security settings page, if prompted you’ll need to sign-in with your work Microsoft account.
Click on '+ Add sign-in method'

In the 'Add the method' dialog box, select 'Authenticator app' and click on 'Add'.
Click on 'Next' as shown below:

Click on 'Next' to view the QR code:

Scan the QR code on your mobile device and enter the number displayed on your screen onto the sign-in notification dialog box on Authenticator app:

After entering the number, click on 'Next' (which becomes enabled after performing the previous step) to view the success screen:

Location the option to change your default authentication method as shown in the image below, and press the blue change link:
