How to reset your password

This article is intended for use by clients of Ziptech Services Ltd that have device support for Apple devices.
Warning
If you don't use or are not sure if Ziptech Services support your Apple devices, please check with whoever is the primary contact for Ziptech Services at your company.
How to reset your own password for Mac Login
Before you begin
If your company currently does not use Addigy Identity for mac device login, this does not apply to you. If this is the case, please raise a support ticket through usual means for assistance resetting your mac login password.
Resetting Password from Mobile or another device
You can also peform the below steps that involve a browser on any other device you have access to.
I know my current password and can login to my mac
Sign into https://portal.office.com and navigate to "View Account".
(Alternatively you can go straight to the "View Account" page using this link)
Select "Password" from the list on the left hand side of the "My Account" page.
Change your password to usign the boxes on the below page:
Logout using:
> Log Out "Name..."
Log back in using Addigy Identity and your new password.
Addigy Identity will prompt you to enter your OLD mac login password.
This is required for your new password to be applied to your local mac user account.
